Who did you purchase the domain from? When you purchased the domain did they say anything about hosting? I think you'll probably need hosting before you can do much else.

thanks L66bad, but I think i'll go somewhere local for hosting, had wasted a lot of money last time I hosted.
I ought the domain from the university of malta, the only place where you can purchase a .com.mt, and apparently you have to fax/post your application as they do not accept emails :S
I'll check with hosting comapny's tomorrow. Thanks for your help!

You go to the control panel at the domain and set up your e mail addresses. The control panel will be available at whoever you purchased the domain from and it is standard to have e mail forwarding.

after you have set up the e mail addresses that are valid and where they will be diverted to, you then set up outlook to use your existing e mail provider but spoof the sender address so you say you are sending from info@xxx but you are really sending from info@bt.com

'The control panel will be available at whoever you purchased the domain from and it is standard to have e mail forwarding' is not true.

Most large hosting people such as 123 or easily have these systems but not everyone does.
If yours does not then you need to purchase either a POP3 mailbox or move the domain to someone who does. I use 123reg.co.uk and you can move domains in for free/cheap.
