Default Dog slow pc

My PC is running really really slow at the moment.
Loads of free memory, but things like just opening a word document takes 30 seconds or more plus everything is very very slow.
Getting loads of pop-ups when on-line too.

Have Norton anti-virus plus thrown pretty much every free virus/spyware utility at it with no joy...HELP !

Sounds like you definitely have some spyware/adware. Does your homepage default to about:blank ???

no pop-up blocker in IE? i'd check that its still enabled along with AV,firewall, windows updates etc as these things often disables them. The trick is to do it in safe mode so you can stop the processes & remove all the references otherwise the buggers will only reload themselves.

Microsoft Anti-Spy is quite good. Can be downloaded free from www.microsoft.com/downloads
I take it you keep your Windows updated via the windows update site. I seem to recall a malicious software removal updates being included in these.
