Question Using Excel as a reporting tool.

Is it possible to use Excel as a reporting tool?

I've been asked to analyse 25 surveys and look for trends in them, such as what products do certain age groups buy, how often different age groups visit, how various age groups rate certain products etc.

Question is, rather than doing it manualy, can I set up a form of some sort which excel can then query to give me the answers?

Or am I just thinking of a database?
