Ive been playing Day of Defeat : Source this weekend, top notch although its set around WW2 time. Maybe you'd prefer something along the lines of Ghost Recon, more of a jungly/vietnam based game....
apart from that Im out of suggestions. Counter Strike Source is good though

Battlefield 2 is very involving, not only is it team based, it splits down in to squads on each team too, with independant orders or follow the commanders orders. You can fly helis or planes, plus drive anything from a attack buggy to full on tank! Then theres the speed boats too...
