Looks good A little narrow on screen and heavy on the adverts (got to pay the bills!), but easy to use and clear.

A definate bookmark for me, as I'm always on the hunt for good samples and loops

Thanks all!!

It's narrow so it works at 800x600 (why anyone is still on that is beyond me however) but some are.

SJ, where is the JS error?

Fuchsohre, The logo is about 4 years old, so I agree it needs updating - and the tail end of the wav needs adding on.

Any ideas for improvements?

Ta

Not wanting to sound picky but put a 'N' in interest on the opening statement.

It is constructive criticism

I had breadcrumbs in an earlier test version, but they didn't quite work how I wanted - may try again at some point.
Try any of these phrases in Google or Yahoo: free loops, drum loops, bass loops or guitar loops. Top 10 for most, I was number 1 in most but I've let the site slip over the past couple of years.

No worries - I'm glad you spotted it. I hate carp spelin on websites!
Daft thing is, I copied the text from the same Notepad doc I used for the front page of the main site!!
Thanks for the compliments too.
DJDunk - why not add yourself to the DJ section & tell me what you think to the signup process.

Just had a quick run through, some points already picked out. Looking good though.

1) privacy and terms are missing

2) See Directory - NEW! at the top of http://www.loopasonic.com/bass.htm

3) Javascript error shown above is here:

<script>writeDate()</script>

This function doesnt exist, needs implementing or removing.

4) Javascript error in other parts of the site:

Code:
<script src='http://www.loopasonic.com/update.js' language=javascript type =" text/javascript"></script>
Lose the space between " text so it looks like this:

Code:
<script src='http://www.loopasonic.com/update.js' language=javascript type ="text/javascript"></script>
4) I would seriously think about losing your email address frrom the site in a machine readable form. Unless you really like getting a load of spam.

Code:
<script>
var theurl = '<a href="mailto:info';
// no spam please
theurl += '@';
// no spam please
theurl += 'loopasonic';
theurl += '.com?subject=Website Query">';
</script>
Then put this instead of your a href email tag

Code:
<script>document.write(theurl);</script>
Hope this helps,

Jules
