Laptop Batteries
My daughter has a 2 year old Packard Bell laptop used for uni work and doesn't always have access to mains supply. Battery has packed up but it breaks my heart having to spend circa £150 for replacement. Anyone have a good link or source for such things? Is there a non OEM market or should I steer clear of copies? It is an NEC Battery Pack Li-ion 14.8v 4000 Ah Thanks, David

That would be very helpful I may also be able to use them to mend the worn out battery pack on my cordless drill which costs more than a new drill!! david

Recently got a battery for my apple powerbook (5 yrs old) off Ebay. Apple wanted £85+, and got an OEM one on ebay for £40. Looks the same, and 4000mAh, 14v. Came next day!
