Default CDs to mp3 ??

Hi,
I want to make an MP3 disc for the car from my collection of CDs, so I can have a greater quantity of music on hand. Anyone know how I can do this ?, how can I convert CD tracks to MP3 format ?

Just use Windows Media Player. Go to

Tools....options....Rip Music...then change the format from wma to mp3. Then just rip them from the cd

Very Unlikely. It will read CDR,CDRWS, but maybe fussy on the media you use, especially if they are 80min CDRs; you might get skipping in certain directories/areas of the disc.

Just had a look at WMP. Would I be right in guessing the best quality to use 192kbps or is that overkill?

Yep 192kbps is pretty close to CD quality, anything above that can't be heard by the human ear, unless ure in a lab
