Any software that...
monitors your internet connection and logs disconnections and reconnections thats free?
Have had an issue with my adsl line at home where it drops connection randomly. Its been like it ever since I moved to my current house and after getting thoroughly hacked off with it I got Pipex to get BT on the case. Its taken them practically 2 weeks to get back to me but today confirmed BT think they have fixed an issue on my line.
What I want to do is have something that monitors my connection so that I can log any drops in service to make sure it has been fixed.
My routers logging is sh!te so not the answer unfortuantely.

Strangely, you prompted me into looking for a bit of software that will enable me to kick my 14 year old, gaming mad, Son off the internet in the evenings (without moaning, groaning and 'it's not fair' comments) It's a tad expensive but I'm sure my aquisition will be rewarded if not financially LOL.
