Question anybody use tiscali broadband ?

They are offering 1mb for 14.99 per month, are they any cop, has anyone had any probs with em atall, cuz thinkin about orderin it today.

how bout ntl ? they do 9.99 for first 12 months... for 1mb

The reason its so cheap is because its capped to a monthly limit. So if u want to dload alot it wont be much cop at all

No idea, but 30gb is nothing per month. I quite often double or triple that amount on my 1mbit connection, and that still isn't much really.

I use it just for internet and xbox live, dont really download much at all so that not an issue, not sure it is capped though. Had it for a while now and no problems whatsoever.

aw bugger, i will mainly be downloadin tunes, an a few movies, will 30gb be enouth for this ?

Depends how many u do per month

1 movie anywhere from 700mb to 4.5gb
1 album anywhere from 50-120mb

That's potentially 4.5gb just for 2 things, you work it out

my old isp used tiscalis network

my connection really was awful every sigle day
I was forced to change ISP, and the problem ws solved

I tried Tiscali dial-up ages ago.

TERRIBLE!!!!

Refuse to ever use them again.

I'd avoid Tiscali as an ISP. I'd look at somebody like Eclipse or Zen. Will cost you another tenner a month or so but you get what you pay for IMHO.
