Question nurburgring on gt4

was just wondering has anyone been around the real nurburgring and the one on gt4, how does it compare?

would it help u and how realistic is it compared to the real thing lap times wise.

Its ok to know which corner comes up from the last one, but it doesnt have all the subtleties of the Ring, all those cambers and bumps (like Schwedenkruse), and no the times arent that realistic

went round the real ring once in 1998 on an R1 (v. quick motorbike for the uninitiated) - First ever blind lap - managed about 9.20. I was on the anchors about 10 times down the straight near the end of the lap before I actually reached the tip in point. Completely unrealted to GT4 times in every sense though

on the contrary, some of the times are incredibly realistic, completely depends which car and which tyres / modifications you have made.

you will find that the lap times on all of the real circuits are surprisingly accurate if you use standard cars on standard tyres in GT4.
