COPYRIGHT CD - HOW TO MAKE A PERSONAL COPY. My Current Disc is scratched. HELP!!!

Default COPYRIGHT CD - HOW TO MAKE A PERSONAL COPY. My Current Disc is scratched. HELP!!!

Got a Disc I need to make a copy of so i can try and save it so i dont have to buy a new one.

But it is copywrited and wont let me. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

I know it might sound Illegal, but personal copy is aloud and Just trying to save the disc i have.


HELP Please.

depends what copying software you use

can i ask what programme you are using to copy??

Assuming its an audio CD try holding shift down when you put the CD in.

Try in iTunes as sometimes it ignores the CP. Or get a mate with a Mac to give it a go.

All long shots but they are all I can think of.

There is no provision in the license you get when you purchase a CD to make a personal copy. You are only allowed to make one backup copy of a computer program. http://copyrightservice.co.uk/copyri..._copyright_law


Alcohol 120% should do what you want though or first try disabling AutoPlay on your PC as some copy protection schemes rely on AutoPlay to do their thing,

Im sure that you mean 'copy protected' rather than 'copyrighted'; if its an audio CD then Easy Audio Correction will copy it. You will need to be a competent user though...

Call whoever produced it, a lot of the time they'll send you a new one.
