Gforce4 mate, the intel will be an onboard thing that is built in..... providing you have an AGP slot (which im presuming the gforce card is) slot it in and it should work with the right drivers installed. but you cant use them both intel n gforce at the same time.
Gforce is better by far!!

This all depends on what you are wishing to achieve. If wanting to play games then the Geforce MX (although this in itself isn't a powerful Graphics card for the latest games). The Intel is on-board the motherboard and is sharing your RAM from the motherboard which makes it slower. If you wish to just use wordprocessing and non intense graphics stuff then leave it on the intel graphics as this will do.
Note: If wanting to use the Geforce 4 then make sure you switch off the Intel in the PCs BIOS (To get into this you press the button when asked to when starting the PC up to get into the set-up. Normally either F2 or DEL key).

The Geforce 4 you may have had before was probably a Ti and not a MX.
In car terms for speed:
MX = Impreza Sport
Ti = Impreza Turbo

What spec is your PC? I take it does have a AGP connector on the motherboard?

How much are you willing to spend? The mutt's nuts is currently the ATI X850XT, but you're looking at £300+. Good compromise is the ATi 9800pro256. Getting long in the tooth, but still better than most cards. From nVidia I'd suggest a 6600GT.
