Unhappy Faxing from XP

I'm having trouble setting up the fax in the office to be able to send from windows XP. The problem is being caused by the program wanting to connect via dial-up rather than using the broadband connection.

any solutions?

The fax software will dial the machine your trying to send the fax to directly, you'll need to connect your old style modem to your phone line for it to work.

spot on

the built in fax software needs a modem to fax out. if you want to use your broadband service you will need something like EFAX to do that.
