Cheap Games pc

Cheap Games pc
I want to build a cheap gamin pc for the kids to keep them off mine as I want to use it and it is surrounded by all three of them, when they do allow me to use it, its generally fooked, by virtue of the fact that at least four games are running.
Anyway, have all the drives, floppy, cdrw, dvd, HD, a case. So am after a cheap motherboard, cpu, memory and video combo, not after ultimate performance as even my old Athlon 1700+, 512 ddr and Gforce 3 ti will still play all the games, even Doom 3 and Half Life 2 will run acceptably if not to ambitious with the detail and resolution. better performance than my old machine should be available at entry level I would imagine these days but to be honest I lose the will to live when studying specs, did it all for this set up so was hoping to hijack someone elses research.
I would prefer an AMD based solution, so its mainly down to motherboard and graphics card, quite happy with an integrated solution if not utterly rubbish, if it plays command and conquer etc then I am happy !

Jacko - if you need any cheap games to go with your PC let me know, I've got a fair few cluttering up my office - all originals.

Here you go, my "favourites" at the top:
Jedi knight/jedi outcast - joint favourite, mega game.
Max Payne - as above.
Return to castle wolfenstein - quite old, but still most excellent.
max payne 2 - better than the first, but the first had a bigger impact if you know what I mean
Project IGI 2 - brilliant, but computer says no ( graphics card a bit lame in mine )
medal of honour - no description Rq'd
call of duty - no description Rq'd
soldier of fortune - V good
soldier of fortune 2 - also V good
Half life blue shift - good - cd and manual, no box
gunman chronicles - so-so, never finished - cd and manual, no box
Deus EX - good at the time, bit dated now - cd and manual, no box
The thing - good, but never finished it.
Messiah - first PC game I ever got - still looks quite good now, quite a clever idea I thought.
Rayman 2 - bought for a fiver in the video shop - very little use
Hidden & dangerous - this was supposed to be quite good, but not my cuppa.
Rouge spear - as above
Daikatana - bag o' ****e
Dawn till dusk - bag o' ****
Alone in the dark - can't even use a mouse with it (would make a nice set of beermats )
what do you reckon for the lot? coasters included
