weird sony digicam question
Hi there, I have pulled a couple of files off of the sony memory stick, edited them in photoshop and put them back on the card (via USB cable to camera method)
However, I can see the files are on the camera through explorer, but the camera will not recognise them? File error message on camera.
If i take a photo, pull it straight off of the camera and put it back in its fine (without any kind of edit), however, if I resave the photo with photoshop (again no edits, just save over original) then the photo will not be recognised on the camera.... leading me to think that photoshop is causing a problem when saving as a jpg...... something different than the camera produces?
Any ideas? I need to get these files on the cam asap so I can take em to get printed in time for xmas
Hope all that makes sense!
Cheers
Paul

The files are still there, just not 'pure' enough to be recognised by your camera, shouldn't mean you can take the stick to the printers though.

yes you can see that the camera recognises the files are there... just worried that the machine i put the memory stick into will not recognise them as the camera wont display em?

Every time you save a jpg you slightly reduce it's quality, as said above, and the camera is not recognising it in the format it was expecting.
Any old **** knows that, I was going to type this earlier, but there is no holding me back now
