Hello

There are several around. Adobe's Acrobat is the one I use. There are even some free ones (http://www.primopdf.com/).

Legally - Adobe Acrobat 6 or 7 can be used with nearly every application.

But there are some freeware/shareware progs to download.

Try www.openoffice.org

freeware aps tend to watermark the output file
for win 98:

www.maj.clara.net/pdf/W98.zip

for 200,me,xp

www.maj.clara.net/pdf/W2K.zip

both are just Acrobat printer drivers, you install whichever one is suitable. open the doc you want to PDF and click file/print....

select the PDF writer as the printer, click print, you will then be asked where the pdf is to go. browse to the folder you want and off you go, dead easy.

for example:

www.maj.clara.net/pdf/newreply.pdf ( smart **** )

HTH,

mike.

Why not download Acrobat 6 professional 30 day trial from www.adobe.co.uk and get a crack from the web to make it permanent - not legal I know - depends on your opinion.

Doesn't depend on anyones opinion. It's illegal full stop. You also probably don't want to be caught using illegal software to publish files to your website. Might be costly....

Still think openoffice is the best - it opens all word and excel documents and has a full PDF creator - all for nothing, no stamps or time limits.

Although I have the full version of acrobat at work.
