Unhappy Retreiving files that have gone to the tip.

I've been a silly boy & whilst having a spring clean of my HD I sent what I thought were empty files & folders to the Recycle Bin.Which I then emptied.

It now turns out that some of my files are missing from Outlook Express (my contacts list),Kodak Picture Software & some others from assorted locations.

Is there any way to get these back by rooting around at the tip or are they incinerated forever.

Please help me.

Did a similar thing myself last week, deleted all the family pics off one of my drives by reinstalling windows XP on the drive. Thought I'd lost the lost 6 years of the kids growing up (and my life if the wife found out). Got them all back with Getdataback.

I've got it zipped in a 2.3Mb file if you can't get hold of it yourself.

Let me know

Try not to do too much (especially saving) on the machine in question till you can do the recovery, as you may write over the parts of the HDD containing the files you want to recover..
