What’s the best (cheapest) way to submit web sites to search engines?
I have seen the various sites offering to do this for you at a cost any body recommend any if this is the best way to do it?
Thanks

dmoz is good, first things first, get listed on google.
Optimise your pages before you do, titles, meta descriptions etc.
Mike
PS. From my experience, free submission services are not very effective and are a great way to get a lot more spam.
