I've been trying to get hold of one, and apparently there are none coming to the UK at the moment because Nvidia have found some "technical issues with their chipset which they are currently resolving" (heard this from a couple of different retailers). Likely be a couple or so weeks before any more appear. Don't know what the issues are, but I wonder if this might be the same thing.
On the other hand, I've seen Doom3 running on the card on a P4 2.5Mhz and it was running as smooth as anything (in fact that's what persuaded me to upgrade from my old 4600Ti). They do need two good stable power connections, ideally from different feeds (i.e. not both from the same power line).

Turn of fast writes as that is the problem Nvidia have had with the 6800 Ultra. Had lots of problems with them on my 6800 Ultra turned them off and away it went. 80+ Fps in Doom 3 at 1280 x 1024 Ultra...
I've also made sure that its off in the driver using coolbits as sometime the driver has turned the fast writes back on.

The componet bit is new and that where I got my card from. It came thru within 24 hours of ordering no problem at all...
Or you could try this one
http://www.tekheads.co.uk/s/product?product=603345
The CPU test in 3dmark03 is exactly that it is using cpu rendering not gfx card. It stutters a bit on mine I think and I'm running a P4 3.0 @ 3.9 Ghz.

Also what GFX driver version you running??
Have you also tried changing the caching value as well as this makes a massive difference in the game.

To be honest you do have a bottle neck that being your processor and motherboard. These cards, both the 6800 Ultra and X800 XT are both very much dependent on the processor being pretty beefy...I think at least in doom 3 I'm processor bound as people with Athlon 64s are getting 20-30 fps more than me using the same card.
I'm running the 62.20 have you also enabled the coolbits stuff as well?? as changing both 3d and 2d clock speeds to the same has made a difference for some people.
BTW Home much ram do you have??
Oh and looking at your scores something is seriosly strangling your card as I get 116fps in CS Beta at 1280x1024 with 6 x aa 16 x af max'd everything

Yes I have installed the coolbits reg tweak.
Not for me

One thing I have forgotten to ask is what are your driver settings for aa and af and also what res your trying to run the games in?
Have a look at this link http://www.guru3d.com/article/article/136/ these cards are processor bound.
My only other suggestion is blow the OS away and build it from the ground up. You may have various bits and pieces of older drivers kicking about still which can cause problems.

re: probs with g force
Dunno about Doom but I loaded the new drivers down from the nvidia site for my g force fx 5900xt and ravenshield rainbow 6 which is what I play just continually crashed out. So I deleted the new drivers and loaded the old ones back down and ravenshield played perfectly. I reckon the new nvidia drivers have got some kind of problem .
