Achieving website menu balance?
hi,
I'm trying my hand at redoing the company website and was wondering what the best way of creating a visually balanced horizontal menu is?
I have 7 options to include with symbols next to them. I did think that if I divided up my 776 px working area into 7 equal parts I could fit them in, but sadly one option is 13 letters long while another is only 4!
So what do you recommend to make it look balanced/equally spaced without leaving huge gaps or over-running the options into each other?

send it to him ^^^
Have you tried putting them all left aligned with small gaps ? ie.
(logo) home (logo) moo (logo) flibble etc
Some sites get away with it
This all falls into the same category as "what colour should I paint my room". Unless we can see it, and whats around it, its a bit hard to help
Hope that helps
