******* popups
Can anybody help, recently been getting loads of popups like the one that say"your computers been watched".
Now one of the bast***s has getting into my desktop backgrounds ang cannot get rid of it. its basicaly a black background saying "your in danger", then white jargon and at the botom "secure yourself right now"
I`ve ran anti-virus and adaware programs and it still wont shift.
I`d be grateful for any help on this problem and to stop these popups.
cheers everyone.

Steve - are you running XP? Sounds a bit like the Messenger service is running (not MS Messenger). You can get a fix for this here (download Shoot the Messenger).
Also download Spyware Blaster - this will stop most things being put onto your PC in the first place. Make sure your firewall and anti virus is up to date.
