Hi guys,
I'm doing a project for a client examining the options for mobile satellite internet access.
I'm putting together some price comparisons based on
differing usage patterns, as there are three main billing methods - 'pay-per-packet', metered by connection duration and fixed-price unlimited access.
Does anyone have any idea if there are standard profiles to estimate amount of data generally used during normal browsing, emails, messaging etc?
Big thanks in advance!

Can't they just provide the old usage stats? No MRTG or anything? Otherwise I think you'll need to make an educated guess, Internet usage will vary greatly between companies of different types.
