Unhappy Outlook query

We have Exchange 2003 server and Outlook 2003 clients.

I know it's possible to share and connect to another users folders such as Inbox, Calander, etc..

With the Inbox it appears to only allow access to the top level and not any sub-folders beneath.

If I create a folder under my Inbox, is it possible to share this folder and allow users to connect to it on it's own???

I've shared one folder and set permissions, but I can't see a way for the remote user to connect to my folder in their client.

Interesting, just tried that out here and only get the options under File/Open/Other User's Folder to open Calendar/Contacts/Inbox/Journal/Notes/Tasks. To share out this information, either add the other mailbox as an Additional Mailbox into the Outlook profile or use Public Folders.

Hmm, go old Microsoft - they like making simple things really awkward.

It's an employee that's left, so I've just exported the folder to a Personal folder and imported it into his replacement's mailbox.
