Hi,

Anyone know how to dowloand a config file via tftp to these switches,

i have used the following;

load method=tftp type=config

however i keep getting crc error on download file, this seems unsual because i just uploaded this file a few minutes earlier, i am using the win agents tftp server which is uploading and downloading to a AT-8350GB switch without any issues,

can anyone help

How did you "upload" it ? If via FTP did you ensure you correctly copied as binary/text ?

hi mate,

i logged into it via console cable, hyperterminal, and chose the command line option.

Typed in 'upload method=tftp type=config' it then asked for the ip address of the tftp server (my laptop) and then asked me to name the file, i names it 8024, pressed enter and it uploaded it to my laptop, although it was unreadable in note pad or wordpad, just a series of yyyyyyyyyyyy's .

Not sure if this means its corrupt, upload and download via tftp works fine on other allied kit, rapier 24i, 8350 etc....

i have tried saving the file as 8024.bin and 8024.cfg but still the same problem when trying to read it or load it back to the switch
