Default MySQL failover and replication strategies (simply)

Hi all,

Basically im in need of some advice regarding taking a standard online MySQL DB and placing replicas on other dedicated web servers so that should one fail the others will take its place.

Im not an SQL DB guru or anything and I have the DB already set up and just want to put several copies on other commodity machines that I own in the DC (running Win 2003 Web Edition) that will replicate and take over the web serving if the master should fail.

I have looked at the MySQL site but it doesnt really give much info in laymens terms !
