Cool DVD backups

Hi all i am backing up some of my dvds to play in the car.. What software are you all using?

version 3.1+ will even write the dvd for you if you have Nero installed

Great bits of software, i`m now looking to record films from my sky+ box to DVD. Any body worked away around that yet

another vote for dvd decryptor...

DVD5 (single layer) use above
DVD9 (dual layer) use DVD2One

DVDShrink is excellent - automatically compresses a dual layered (commercial) DVD onto a single layer (recordable) DVD. It then gives you the option to 're-author' which basically means strip out all the crap like FBI warnings, trailers, foreign languages etc so that you can reduce the compression.
Most disks will fit without compression if you're happy with just the main film and nothing else.

Here's a tutorial for Sky+ to DVD - not tried it yet.
