come to think of it I have been getting loads of mails lately from so called "undelivered messages"

there is a link in the message - when I hover my mouse over the link a load of dodgy looking gobledygook appears in the grey bar at the bottom of the message - it doesent match the text in the link - so I havent clicked it.

what sort of links are they?

The same happens with all links dodgy or otherwise (except I tend to avoid clicking on the dodgy type)

For example, if I receive a thread activity notification mail with a link to the thread, it appears as a hyperlink, but I can click it all day and nothing will happen.
