Outlook Express - anyone out there able to help a novice set it up..?

If you are, would you mind volunteering to help me set up Outlook Express on my new Compaq Presario computer?
I'm sure the problems i'm having are so basic, but to a non-teccie they can be very frustrating.
Ideally i need someone to walk through this with me over the phone, so would be evening time.
If anyone is able/willing to give me a hand, please let me know!! Thanks very much,
