Copying i386 folder to h/d in dos
I'm trying to install xp on another computer but it's coming with an error all the time. Can someone please tell me what to type in dos to copy the i386 folder to the h/d so I can load it from there?

It depends on the error you are getting, but you should be able to do it with xcopy. For example, to copy from the cd ( Drive e: ) to c:\i386 you would type something like....
xcopy e:\pathto\i386\* c:\i386 /s/e/v
Note that the c:\i386 directory will need to exist before you do this. Also, if you type....
xcopy /?
It will give you a full lits of the available options...

first make a directory on the hard drive
md c:\i386 (or whatever you like)
then copy the contents down from the cd (d being your cd drive)
xcopy d:\*.* c:\i386
think thats it
