Default Killing Internet Popups

They are driving me crazy at home by slowing me down on my already slow 56k connection!!! Particularly the daily lingerie and e bay ones!

Is there a way to stop them - have I downloaded something that permits them?

I have my AOL preferences set to 'no pop ups' already, but guess this is an IE thing.

Help me!

a) Install Google Toolbar

or

b) Install Mozilla Firefox

plus.... download Ad-aware from lavasoft.de and zap all the spyware on your system.

you could also stop the 'windows messaging service' on your pc. Install a popup killer like Meaya, is pretty good.

Google tool bar works for me.

Had it for months now and nothing has got through it.

What more can you ask for? And it's free.......
