Default BIN to ISO

I've recently converted some .bin files to ISO and then used Nero to burn to CDRW, everything goes fine until I goe to use the disks and then it says corrupted or incompatible format. I would presume that the fact that can convert and burn that they are ok and that they are of PC type, unless there is another system that uses ISO.

Help.

Try using ISOBUSTER, this lets you create CUE sheets on the basis of the bin - then just burn image using Alchohol 120%, or nero.

nero should see a bin file as an image anyway, so no need to converty IIRC

A bin file does not come with sector settings etc. When you do a burn image command, it offers you to burn using a set amount of sectors or burn raw, this sometimes works, sometimes not.

You can also use isobuster to extract al files to a directory and create a standard CD using the data

Lightning, need some help here. I open the bin, which shows me a directory structure. After reading the help, it advises uses the item in bold for extraction. I do this, this then creates another bin, obviously I want to write it as it came from the CD, using Nero which does not like the bin file, so how do I create the ISO.

Cheers

You can get some free software on the net that will convert them for you. Do a quick search in Google.

You could also try winiso (http://www.winiso.com/). It's not free, but at only $30 it's cheap enough and it seems to do a good job...
