comments / ideas on a website project.
Hi scoobynetters,
I am doing the branding and design for a mates bar. I have redesigned his logo and used consistant colours through his identity etc.
I have done a bit of webdesign, but I am no expert, I am using dreamweaver so I am sure to get stuck at somepoint.
Here is the first concept I have come up with, some of the roll overs need sorting out, and there are no links as I haven't got the content to start on the other pages! I dunno people ask you to design a web site for free and can't even be bothered to write the copy!
http://www.n-space.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/index.htm
What do you think of the general concept?
It has a 2 frames top with the logo in, and the lower part is the main page where all the action will be. I might have a quick link drop down menu nav thing on the top frame as well.
And probably the same in each window so that they don't have to keep reloading the index to navigate.. Although I am not set in stone on that, I am coming up with a few ideas...
Cheers
Nick

I like the foreground stuff - but maybe the background needs to be brighter? I visualise white sandy beaches, blue sky and water. Maybe something to give that sort of impression / colour scheme, without going overboard?

I like it - I know what Pete The Biker means but think that might make it look more like a holiday site..... the dark background works well with it being a bar! Maybe brighter highlights on the forground stuff?

2 things:
Coconut has no 'A'
quiries (at the bottom) should be 'queries'
Not trying to be a smart ****, just thought I'd point it out - especially as its the first thing customers will see.
Another bloody bar in Kingston!
