Default Digi Camera driver help

I have a Tiny( as in the co.) digi camera, which I got in the P.C. package 3years ago, worked fine 'til I upgraded to Windows XP recently, now I cant find any driver/software downloads that are XP compatable.
Anyone suggest a solution(apart buying a new camera).
Colin

Does the camera have a removeable memory card?

If it does, you could buy a card reader. Some of the readers seem to be supported in XP without drivers, and those that need a driver will ship with one. Plus side to a card reader is that some of them (esp. USB2 readers) will move the data faster than the camera connection.

John.

you should be able to access the memory card off the camera like a hard drive and xp should automatically detect the camera

Let me know the model number or any distinguishing marks (and I don't mean dents and scratches) and I will have a hunt around.

Connect it to USB port and you should hear the "Connected" sound. Then check in Explorer - you should have an additional removeable disk drive (may be called "Mass Storage Device")

Hi,
Camera needs to support PTP (Photo Transfer Protocol) to be seen a removeable drive under the operating system.

Suspect you need the driver software suite package that came with the camera.

Do as the others say and look for some serial/model number to help identify the camera. Its probably a re-badged other make.
