Question Broadband on demand?

I know broadband is supposed to be on all the time but I live half my week in a house that is in a broadband area. Thinking about the BT 19.99 per month deal but for more than half the month the house will be empty - seems a bit of a waste.
Anyone aware if theres any other providers that offer something that'll suit me better. Already have ISDN (isp is a 24/7 service) at my own house (no broadband in area) but the line rental for this is 25 quid per month so the 19.99 broadband deal is better than this already. Any ideas?

Kevin.

defo dont go for the cheapo £19.99 BT broadband! it is not that cheap as you have to pay a high activation fees!

you can check out www.virgin.net. for £25/month, there's no setup/activation fees and minimum contract is 1 month.

How about www.metronet.co.uk. You pay £10 pm then for what you use maximum of £23 I believe.

Guy at work uses them and they seem pretty good.
