XP update changed my Ip ?
Had problems with Xbox media player and Relax in the last week or so.
Turns out XP update and/or System restore changed my machines Ip addy so that was why the streaming Prog wasn't working.
Anyone got any idea as to why my Ip would change on it's own

Depends on a few things, is your ip address manually assigned or are you using DHCP ? Does your machine have a private subnet IP address ie 192.168.0.x.
If you have enabled internet connection sharing on your PC then it will change your IP to 192.168.0.1
