Default Outlook Express 6 help

I accidently deleted the folder where my utlook files were stored, then opened OE and realised my mistake when all my messages had gone.

I restored the folder back to it's original location, but only my In-Box re-appeared, none of my filed mail is showing.

All the DBX files are in the folder, but how do you import it back into Outlook? I tried an import, but it only seems to import the Inbox, so I now have 2 of every message, but still no folders.

PLEASE HELP.

You could try this (not sure if it will work though):

Close OE
Move the folder/contents to a temporary location. Make a note of where you put them.
Open OE
Import messages from the temporary location.

Well I'm nearly there, although still don't have some of the latest folders.

I imported a mail backup from September 2003, which worked ok. This backup was in a separate directory. Is there any way of importing individual DBX files, rather than a complete folder? I can still see the latest folders in the file listing, but can't import them.

I tried to copy the folder elsewhere, but by then had opened OE Maybe this had created a new list of directories within Outlook, which is why I couldn't see the previous ones, although they are still in the Windows mail folder.
