usb powered hub + usb laser printer - will it work with 2 pc's connected via usb

usb powered hub + usb laser printer - will it work with 2 pc's connected via usb
can anybody help on the following
have 1 pc and 1 laptop in office on the network
user x has nice shiny new laser in office,
needs to use it with both machines
If I get a usb powered hub and connect USB printer to it can I simply run 2 usb cables from PC's into hub and get a printing solution ?
if not what options do I have
