Default Browser problems - can someone check this website

I'm having some weird problems with both Netscape 7.1 and IE6

Can someone try doing a search for a car here:
TimesOnline

With Netscape, the drop down boxes don't even work, so I can select a make and model of car

With IE6, if displays the search results screen but there's no actual information in the tables to click on.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem ?

Even trying to pull up www.scoobynet.co.uk
IE6 displays everything fine
NetScape displays a screen of ascii garbage

Tested in IE6, works fine. After presenting a list of results, click on a car which pops up a new window with more car details and piccy.

Thanks all

Arggh! Then why the hell does my IE6 not list any search results! Just an empty color coded table?!?!

I'm sure this is javascript related but I don't know where to start troubleshooting!

IE6 SP2
WinXP SP1

Do all browsers use a common javascript component and if so can it be upgraded in anyway ?

UPDATE: Just downloaded , installed and tried Opera 7 but its doing the same thing! Arghhh!!!!
