Emlyn Hughes International Soccer - anyone got it for the Amiga?
Does anyone remember playing this game? For me it was the best football game I had ever played after Match Day on the speccy
I still have my Amiga up in the loft but sold a load of my games at a boot fair when I was a teenager and would really like to get the game back and play it, it was massively addictive with a really good transfer system.
What other classics do you still have? I think I still have kick off and its later derivatives
Time to get the Amiga out me thinks and go back to some classic gaming

If you look hard enough on the net you can find Amiga emulators and Amiga games.
I may have the software on my PC at home still. Let me know if you want it and I'll see how big the file is.
I've got Turrican 2, Gods, Alien Breed as they were my favorites.

Yeah I still got sensi soccer as well I think and although that is far superior in the graphics department it was the transfer system and player ratings and stuff that made EHIS so good for me.
The other one I liked was Player Manager which was kick off with a management game bolted onto it. Used to spend hours and hours playing that Did player Manager 2 ever come out as I waited years for that but I never heard it being released?
I'll be on MSN tonight mate so will message you when I get in then

Hard enough? UAE has been out for donkeys years, don't have to look hard for that If you want a commercial distribution that really works well, Cloanto is worth paying for. I prefer my real one though
I'm after a copy of Alien Breed 2 actually if anyone has one, no ADF or DMS images, I'm after the original.

OK great, still need to find £120 to mod it though - £60 for a mod chip and fitting and £60 for a large HD. Not gonna happen for ages as I need to spend £300 on my bike to get it road legal for spring time and I am moving house so every penny has gone on that
Think that a pc emu will be the answer for now as I can keep the Amiga in the loft and unbox it when I move, just need to get the emu and roms to tide me over.

b2o,
ive got an .adz of it, you'll need UAE to run it, not sure if its available for free, I paid for mine it was about £40 I think as mentioned from cloanto, do a search for amiga forever. If the file is of use email me and I'll reply with said file!
cheers

Gary thats great, thanks!
I will have a browse about tonight and then get back to you.
Some of those on that list are tops! I spent weeks playing Gunship 2000. Whats the Harrier Assault like?
I'm gonna have to venture into the loft now and see what originals I have left that survived the boot fair

What I've got is UAE. Didn't take too long to find a freeware version. Bit of a fiddle to get the games to work properly but once its set right its fine.
/edit - IMHO Alien Breed was one of the finest Amiga games ever. Still gets me when the alarm starts going off and you have to race back to your ship.

Cheers mate
Oh and the main reason for those wondering who would want to play old amiga stuff when they have a pc/xbox/ps2 is that all my games I have I think are great but are becoming increasly time consuming which doesnt go down too well in a relationship. The old stuff you can sit down and have a quick game of for 15 mintes and walk away from - ie sensi soccer etc. If I put on Pro Evo 3 on the ps2 I need to sit there for a couple of hours to get right into it and play a few games. This is fine when I have the time but the amiga stuff will allow me to play great games without having to spend ages getting 'involved' with them
