Unhappy

I am trying to play a video clip in windows media player - I can here sound but the picture is very strange.

The best way i can describe it is that it is all muddled up and flickering all over the place. The main "colours" are green and blue - you can't make out any of the video at all, but like I said, you can here the sound perfectly.

I would appreciate help with this as its doing my head in !

sounds simmiler to a problem i had, but it was only AVI files

there is a program out there that you run on a movie file and it will tell you what codecs are missing from your system to play it 100%

but i cant rember its name (will probably be saved in my zipped programs folder but its like a jungle in there)
