Macs only I'm afraid. But if you have at least OS X Jaguar and a Bluetooth phone and a Bluetooth adaptor then you can use this software. Its shockingly good you can control iTunes from your mobile and virutally any other applescriptable action on your Mac.

Currently Palm OS and SE only, he announced at MWSF that he's bringing it to Symbian (P800, P900, 7650 etc) later on this year.
And yes it is brill! The integration with PowerPoint and iTunes is superb, it streams track names and slide notes to the phone display so it's much more than just a remote control.
The proximity sensor is fun to show off every time

Had a party on Sat night, used the clicker to control the tunes being played all night. Quite possibly the best gadget I've ever seen. Wandering round doing track requests for people, searching it using the phone and queing it in a playlist all from anywhere in the house!
Had some fun with the "Do Shell" and "say" commands too
I'm such a nerd

Alex (and angry)
(sorry to hijack)
While your around either of you had any experience running VirtualPC for Mac, Ive run it before to do some linux dev work on a win2k machine and it was fairly painful seemed like I needed huge amounts of RAM and kick-*** processor to make it a viable option, just wondered what it was like as it seems you cant trial it only buy it!
cheers

I've not used it. I was thinking about it when I first got me Mac but never bothered, sorry.
For what its worth though, I've heard it is quite a good programme, although as you ask, very RAM intensive.

It is great bit of software (virtual PC), but yes it is RAM intensive and processor hungry.Just make sure you have at least version 5 and do not use XP on it as the OS.Use W2K, as it is much faster. You can allocate built in memory in the prefs section and run the program quite well, and then when finished just quit the program and you get your memory back for normal use.
Sailing clicker is so much fun and yes, you do sound like a nerd after about 10 mins of using it, but what fun !!!

Gary,
Heavy on the RAM and not particularly fast, although bearable. New version out in the spring set to improve things as it will pass more things off to dedicated hardware in the Mac (for example, instead of emulating an ancient SIS 3D graphics card, it will try to offload to your Macs internal video card).
angrynorth,
My favourite try-before-you-buy client is Acquisition. All of the Limewire goodness without the horrible interface or nasty spyware which is now present in the Mac version.
Remember kids, don't steal - it's bad karma

there is a similar program available on pc...
#10
yup it's called "Bemuzed" and lets you have total control winamp using your bluetooth phone (nokia 3650, 7650, 6600 and any others with bluetooth). It's perfect for all fellow windows slaves with large stashes of MP3's and video's (winamp 5 is best for vids)and cables linking everything to everywhere. If you are a nokia user then go to groups.yahoo.com and look for any nokia symbian groups (3650 groups are generally the best) and get it and other brilliant software for your phone FREE!
