Since downloading this patch,the game crashes and my pc freezes when I select multiplayer online.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game(twice) and downloading the patch from different sites but it either freezes the pc or when I downloaded from EA's site,it just keeps on installing the patch when I run the game.
Any ideas on how to get it to work?

shame, as im particulary addicted to this game

try uninstalling and reinstalling the original command and conquer generals rather than just the zero hour prog.
or you may have to update your video card or motherboard drivers

ea games has a forum for this game on members helping other members

Thanks.I haven't tried uninstalling the original Generals yet so will give that a try.I've been on the EA forums and they seem more interested in slagging each other off and calling everyone who a Noob than helping.

i had a problem connecting online with this game and allthe time it turned out to be the fact that i was running a nocd, and they have blocked that

What's a nocd?Super si will tell you I'm a techno idiot.

Also-remembered that my original Generals disc is scratched(won't run) so don't want to risk uninstalling it.

just had to bail in a game with Si as he got his **** kicked nocd is a fix so you dont have to use the cd but if you dont know what it is i doubt you have it installed

Hahah-I see,no cd.I have that for Generals(Si sent it me)but don't want to risk losing it all.Will have to wait for next patch I suppose and see if that works.
