Is there any limitations running games if I install W2K server rather than professional workstation? I have licenses for both and want to install server for work related reasons.....but still want to play games occasionally!
Thanks, Richard

If I recall correctly, Server doesn't have DirectX support. I believe that's the case. Hmm... or was that just for Windows Server 2003 versus WinXP?
Is dual-booting an option (if the above is true)?

i used server before and yes it supports DX but 1/2 my games didn't like running on it at all with buggered graphics or just not responding
so i then moved to 2K pro, and im now on XP Pro and have no issues.

win2k pro can only have 10 active "shares" to its files. if it is going to be used as a fileserver then user the server software, if you want it as a workstation use the pro software.
aint really rocket science is it.
