As the subject really.
Over the Xmas break I completely forgot about the ipaq sitting out in the car glove box and consequently the battery had run flat. I only really use it for GPS stuff and I have a 256Mb SD card in there to store it all on.
However, once the recharging was complete (and after I reentered all the settings etc) there's no trace of any GPS stuff on the machine at all, nothing in the menus, nothing on the SD card (but other stuff I had on there is still there?)

Is there something I haven't done? as in maybe the user name and stuff isn't exactly how I entered it (can't remember what I put when I first got it) and it's not letting me see the GPS stuff?

Matt

Looks like the GPS software (the programs at least, if not the data) was actually installed in RAM. You'll have to reinstall again I'm afraid.

Happened to me with my 5450 recently ... I save the TT2 maps onto a 256MB SD card now and with each change ie install of new software I make a FULL backup of the device .

Made the mistake once of taking battery off (so it would reset the WLAN ) and then pressing the soft-reset .. Oppps my Ipaq was nuked !!!! restore from backup AGAIN!!

Watch out for that one !!!
