New ipods. 15Gb version of the current model and a whole new family of mini ipods.
Xerve has not been upgraded to G5 processor for stonking performance.
New version of iLife now includes GarageBand music creation software.
Hope to have UK pricing on these bits within next 24-48 hours.

iPod mini - more info here - http://www.apple.com/ipodmini/. 4GB player in a 3.6x2.0 inch package. Touch wheel as with its bigger brother. $249.

Nice bit of stuff from the mother ship I see...
Though it wont be long before the critics and us hard to please lot, who will be moaning that it was quite a quiet and low key keynote in terms of products announcements.
Shame that the iBox never materialised but hey Santa was good to me so cant complain.
ipod will be a hit (mini) as its cheap enough now for more people and not everyone has 10,000 songs to store so pat on the back for that one.Dubious colours,reminds me of those dodgy Sobrane cocktail cigarettes that you could buy years ago...IMHO

Mmm shades of the multicolured Imacs. I just hope Apple don't make us order in batched of 5 of each colour like they did with the iMacs.

OK here the availability updated.
iLife due in around 10-14 days.
XServe G5 towards end of Feb/ maybe March.
Hard rirve units for XServe RAID should be available soon as will new XServe RAID.
New Mini iPods expected to start shiping 24/4/2004 so get your orders in now to be at the top of the queue.
