PGR2 on Xlink Kai - any takers?

I am using this version due to not getting the standard xlink to work for some reason. However now I have installed it and used it I found it much better and there were certainly more people online than the standard xlink app.

XLink(info) allows you to play Xbox games online with other people - completely free and legal. Each game with LAN-support will work, that includes popular games like: Halo, Project Gotham Racing2, Rainbow Six, SegaGT Online, CounterStrike, XIII, ... (full list)
And there seems to be some confusion about this, so I'll repeat it: it works on both unmodded and modded Xbox.

OK nice one, I don't get home till late due to being a 'commuter' so never play much before about 9ish. My xlink kai name is the same as here so should be easy enough to spot. Add me to your kai list and I will accept and add when I log on.
I really must play some more career mode though so I can have some decent cars like a scoob etc. Was playing with the porshce 911 last night and it fish tails like a bastad
Need something with better handling that gets the power down without spinning the wheels

hehehe, ok I'll add you when I get home.
I think I'm gonna have to invest in a VGA convertor so that I can use the Xbox upstairs cause the g/f is allows watching TV in the evenings.

Got connected thru Xlink (supprisingly!) How do I actually play PGR2? I'm in a PGR2 room with a few other people present.
I can see "launch" on the side bar but that only lets me play from a DVD?

Well I've sort of got Xlink running, no choice of game but I seem to be able to join the occasional one, but the Kai stuff is just a big no no. Anybody got any ideas for what I can do to try and find out why it's not working?
I have performed no configuration on Kai, as there appears to be none, chat works as I spoke to a couple of you tonight.
I'm at a complete loss at the mo

Cheers Dunk, managed to work that out shortly after I posted the original question. I can now get PGR2 to launch from Bo-Xlink but haven't managed to join a game. Should it go straight into a race or do I need to pick multiplayer-systemlink? if so I tried that and it didn't work feel like such a n00b! :blush:

For some reason my xbox does not like PGR2, it keeps crashing when loading. I thought it might be because i changed the profile to get all cars so made a new one and its the same. I put it on the HD so i could get all cars and it would load quicker but looks like i will need to run it from the orig

No worries mate, gonna be plenty of other times to try, I was only on till just after 9 ish, that bloody Mr.Cookie turned up and gave me a right beating!

LOL mr mini admitted he had tweaked it to a V12 engine It out accelerated the porker by ridiculous amounts, just dont see the point of cheating like that.
Still don't understand why some people can't use Kai but can get xlink to work fine and others can use kai like me but can't get xlink to work
Very strange as they must be using the same architecture and protocols etc so why would one work and the other not
Will be better if someone else hosts next time as I only have the minimum tracks and cars etc so very limited on what I can setup
