Question

Just purchased a DVD burner and installed in my PC. I can get it to play ordinary CD's and DVD's and also burns data etc etc, but I cannot get it to "backup" any original DVD films. Its the only CD drive in the PC and so, I have to copy to the hard disk first. Whenever I try to do this, I receive an error message "Copyright protected - cannot copy DVD" -

Is there a way around this ?

All advice welcome

What software are you using.

Previously i used dvd shrink(free) and Nero, although i have found the latest version of shrink to have a few problems.

I'd go with Haxer on the DVDXCOPY... couldn't imagine what the "Special Version" is ?! Best version to go for is Platinum, hopefully this (along with something else) is what Haxer was on about.
