FDisk; Format and re-master. Make sure that you write-protect your boot diskette and just to be sure, after un-setting the partition close down and re-start.

He's suggesting you wipe your hard-drive and reinstall everything from scratch.

However, it looks like your monitor is just set on a very low resolution. Right-click on the Desktop, Properties, Settings - and see what res. it's on currently.

Was down stairs having a play-a-bout with it and managed to click on the "diplsy" icon and it would apear that it was indeed set to a low res.
Now, it was either my GF or one of the dogs but none of them are owning up to it

*packs up laptop for tonights nightshift*
