Question

Which one is best?

Seen a few for sale at good prices and the games render really well

Which should I buy?

I'm on a pension!

Emulator won't overheat or crash because of a dry joint on the circuit board.....

A mate brought a ZX81 into work the other day :-) I remember them first time around but it was fun to get another look once we'd bodged up a power supply for it.

As everyone has said you'd be better downloading an emulator for your PC Pete.

After it had been in use for a while my mate's ZX81 blew up and hasn't worked since. An emulator will not do that.

Question

you bought from amazon??? Huh? How'd you do that they sell em second hand and you paid more than £140 for the pair?

Seems very unlikely.

Dragon 32 was a fantastic machine - shame the games mostly didn't live up to its capabilities....

Beware the rose tinteds - I spent hours earlier in the year sorting an Amiga emulator to run Sensi soccer - soon went back to the PC/PS2/XBox......

Amazon are doing them on special offer - some place in India have got hold of the tools, jigs, fixtures and are pushing them out as brand new!!

They are selling them for £80 each, which I think is really good!

You need to e-mail Amazon as they are only importing a few initially .................. I don't think I should be telling you all this!

Pete

I wonder why Mr Lewis bothers trying to wind people up in this forum but it was slightly amusing all the same

However, If you really are serious and want to give away some of your cash mountain I have a spare boxed and working 48K Spectrum you can have for £500, and I'll even chuck in some Ultimate games

Well, with all the PS2 v XBOX threads and everyone getting cheesed off with them I though I would bring some festive cheer ...... and who easier to wind up than a bunch of Computer Geeks?!

I had a VIC20, C64, ZX, Amiga, Atari, ..... I've had just about everything!

Playing Project IGI at the moment, cost me £3 from Game - NEW!

Anyone know of any savegame cheats, as when I get killed it all starts from the beginning!!

Have a good Xmas Geeks!!

Pete the **** there proving beyond a doubt that he's no more of pensionable age than Jordan. How old then, 30? maybe late 20's but certainly not grey at the temples are we? Lewis you are just as much of a geek as anyone else in here, if not more as you obviously have some kind of envy of the elderly and infirm.

You got him sussed CheekyChimp, just as I did back in 1999 when he first started using his poor old me pensioner persona.

I know of no other 76 year old who prattles on about his silver PS2 and what FPS games he should buy this Crimbo. I only wish that he’d bought an Xbox with the live kit so that we could all hear what he really sounds like. Croaky old pensioner with sinus problems caused by a huge over abundance of nasal hair, or squeaky little girl voice caused by lack of testosterone from masturbating over his own ego every day?

So go on *****, use your £100,000 a year income to buy an Xbox and lets have a chat, the offer is open
