As well as this homepage hijack I have been getting a lot of crashes in IE 5.5 - Anyone know why this is happening?

Cheers

Been surfing for dubious things by any chance?

Run Adaware or Spybot... That will get rid of the bugger...

Thanks for your confidence guys!

I have cahanged the homepage back a few times & it comes back as the same one http://fastsearch.cc/. I have not been surfing anywhere dubious mainly auto websites, scoobynet & Land Rover forums - background research at work . I cannot get the IE critical updates suggested due to IT guy being on holiday at the mo and being saddled with WIN2000 on my work machine & no Admin rights

Aha - Adaware 6 has done the job 'CoolWebSearch' or something rated as 'possible browser hijack attempt'

There is CWShredder available to remove all traces if anyone else gets this problem!

Cheers

Excellent 2 thingys removed and 6 webpages restored - apparently and IE seems to be working fine!

Netscape layout just isn't the same
